    This kit DOES NOT contain alcohol. It has a charred oak barrel and schnapps essence that are used to turn neutral spirits into flavored alcohol. The kit is complete with enough essence to flavor two one liter batches. More supplies are available online from makers of similar kits. This barrel has never been used and the directions need to be followed to prep the wood. The two bottles of essence included have an expiration date of September 2018.
