REMCO MINT COMPLETE MOVIELAND DRIVE IN BOX, CARS, FILMS, BILLBOARDS AND ADS

Every now and then I offer one of my personal collector toys and this is your chance to have a 1 in a 100 Movieland set.
This is a MINT, complete and working
Remco Movieland. Why buy an incomplete set like the other ones listed at this point. This one has all the components and great working terminals that are not rusty and broken off but are clean and shiny.  It is hard to tell if this was ever used. The main sticker has no finger nail marks and is bright and shiny so it is hard to see that this was used. T
his auction includes the three film sleeves with the films in nice white and flat condition.  The films have no scratches from being run through the film projector.  The Movieland platform looks great and has all its unbroken speaker posts. The battery bar is included as is a nice clean unmarked white screen. Most screens are dirty and marked up, just look at them on eBay. The set works perfect and includes the working bulb.  Many for sale are listed as "untested". How hard is it to put two D Cells in it to check.  Quite often you will see that they say it just needs a light bulb, that is code for "it does not work".  This set includes the 6 original cars in the unopened original packet. The large sedan cars are two piece and since they were made in post war Japan the chassis was made from recycled cans (fun fact) so it is not unusual to see coffee names or other names that was printed on the cans, on the underneath of the chassis. There are the 3 fantastic Mint billboards. Also included is the often missing black out shade in perfect shape. The colorful retail box looks just about like it did when it was new.
It is incredibly hard to find a box this nice.  This had to be stored the last 60 years in a protect area.  It could be years before you find a box this nice.
I have owned close to 100 Movielands over the years and this is the nicest one I have ever offered. If you are a serious collector and want the best, here it is other wise you have other choices for less on eBay.  Also included is a copy of an article about the Movieland and a Christmas catalog ad showing the set for sale. I always like to give my buyers a greater experience by including collateral material when I can.
