I NEVER USED IT !!
This is considered the "best of the best" in pleaters! The "Mercedes" in Pleaters!
I had to change this to "Used" because it has been opened, but technically, it is new.
Rare, Brand New Super Amanda Jane Pleater. I bought this pleater back in 2000 with the intention of learning to smock and never did take the time to learn. I purchased this from JoAnn fabrics (I believe-- or maybe it was Hancock fabrics) and they inserted the needles while I watched how to do it. The pleater has been stored and is in brand new condition. The paperwork is included, but says "Super" Amanda Jane Pleater and the tag on the Pleater itself does not say "super", but I don't know if there is a difference.
Pleating Machines make pleats for smocking in no time that looks just as nice as hand smocking. These machines are a must for anyone that does a lot of pleating or smocking.  They are durable and will last for many, many years!  I understand the Amanda Jane is no longer being manufactured.   This is thought by many to be the best smocking machine they have ever used!
